HELLO friends! Wow, really long time no see! I’m sorry again for my evident hiatus, and I could definitely give you a TON of excuses for why I haven’t been posting, but I won’t bore y’all with that. Instead, today is the first of 3 blogposts highlighting my FAvORiTE new sweater, and showing 3 different ways on how to wear it. Of course this post wasn’t designed to create 3 unique looks that only look good with the exact sweater I’m wearing, but rather to highlight a pretty basic staple that most of you already have in your closet. I hope you enjoy this mini-series!

Today’s outfit, is one that literally just screams HOLIDAY to me. Maybe it’s the red-hued blanket scarf, or the gold star baubles on my ears- but wearing this ensemble totally got me ready for the holiday season (Thanksgiving included). The black pants that I’m wearing, are a purchase I made last winter. They didn’t fit that well last year, and surprisingly they do this year! It’s crazy what a few inches grown can do to you! This pair are from Altar’d State, and are my only jeans from there. But, I do like the quality of them and they are at a nice price point too. The blanket scarf is one I purchased from Gap last year, and now I’m getting to wear it more. I think it’s a really cute mix of colors, but still has that classic buffalo check pattern. It’s also EXTREMELY soft, and sometimes I just will bring it for a little blanket when I go to restaurants. This sweater , is obviously so amazing- because I’m writing so many posts on it. It’s got that predictable J. Crew quality, but still has some trendy elements to it. Also, it’s just like the softest sweater I’ve ever owned. Seriously. It’s that good.
And how could I️ forget about these ADORABLE earrings ?!! These are totally on trend, and aren’t that heavy too! Instant FAV!
I hope this post inspires one of your next outfits, and be sure to check back each week for a new rendition of this sweater! Enjoy your Thanksgiving! XX, ELLA Sent from my iPad
