Hey Y’all! Happy Sunday! This weekend started with no school on Friday, because of a “snow day”. Now for those of you reading this an live someplace where you have a real winter, you would definitely NOT call this a snow day or have school canceled from those conditions. But I did actually snow, which was like the coolest thing ever! I don’t think I’ll ever remember seeing (most) of my yard covered in a blanket of snow. In Texas, we really don’t see something like that often. So when I got up, I literally dragged my sister Georgia out of bed so she could come shoot these pictures for me! Because it’s not everyday that it’s a snow day! But ironically I’m wearing a sleeveless shirt in this post, even though it was REALLY cold outside (#getsomecommonsense ). Yes I understand that this ensemble may’ve not been the most practical thing to wear, but hey at least my outfit looked cute. Onto the interesting details: First, this post is a collaboration post with Emma, from emmalynnnicholas.com . Y’all her style is so cute, and I am in LOVE with the outfit she put together for her take on the Holiday Outfit Post. Be sure to check her blog out, as well as her Instagram and YouTube!

The SNOW! Y’all it truly was amazing, sadly that was all that was left when we took these pictures though.

I really really really like this picture, something about it just gets me into the Christmas mood!

Isn’t this velvet bow detail just the cutest! It was such a fun little extra, that makes this shirt stand out.

Shoes: old

Pearl Necklace: no clue where it’s from, sorry guys;))

This is literally the. cutest. shirt. ever. I’m so obsessed y’all, I have no idea where to begin. First off I would like to say that it is at an amazing price! For a top that was originally priced $80 to what it is sold for now at $35- that’s is a pretty super bargain! Since I will mainly wear this shirt to holiday events (not school) I didnt want to spend that much on it. But I have found though, that you can really dress it up or down, depending on the event you are going to. I wore this shirt to my sister’s Nutcracker ballet performance, with black pants and boots. That was more of an in-between look, I would have to say. Purchasing holiday pieces that can be worn beyond the holidays, is something I always think about when shopping during this season. Versatility really is key! One thing that I would change about this top though, is sizing. I got the small, only because the extra small was sold out online. It’s not that the top I ordered didn’t fit, I just think if I got the small the part around my neck wouldn’t be so loose. But overall it’s very comfortable, so no complaints on that. The last thing that made me fall in LOVE with this shirt is the undeniable blush pink/dusty rose/millennial pink color. This color has rapidly made it’s way into my closet during 2017, and I have no regrets. Sometimes certain shades of this color can make my skin look washed out (#palepeopleprobs), but this hue certainly did not do that to me! Overall I’m really happy about my purchase of this top! I think it will be something I’ll wear in the years to come, as well as many time this holiday season. Also, shoutout to my AMAZING sister Georgia. She is really such an amazing sister/photographer, and I can’t wait to see more of her work on here in the months to come! Love you bbg, thanks again! I hope y’all enjoyed this post and much as I enjoy wearing this FAB shirt! Thanks for supporting me too, y’all rock!! XX, ELLA
