Christmas Dress

Hey Y’all! Merry Christmas Eve Eve! A few weeks back, one of my favorite photographers, Molly, (aka my best friend) took some AMAZING pictures for my blog! Y’all, these literally look so professional, that I just could not wait to share them with you guys. But, then finals came along, which is why I’m sharing this post right now. But better late than never, amiright? I’m actually planning on wearing this dress to Christmas Eve service (tomorrow), and I’m just so excited to do so! I really do LOVE this dress, and I have been waiting for the perfect time to wear it!

If you know me personally, you might know that it is really hard for me to find dresses that work for me. (I own like maybe 3 dresses because of that.) It’s not that I don’t find a ton of frocks that I LOVE, it’s more that they just don’t quite fit me or look good on me. Which is why I was kind of apprehensive when I was ordering homecoming dresses online at ASOS. But omg I found SO MANY CUTE DRESSES y’all! I ended up ordering about 5, and I was originally only going to keep one (that would be my dress for homecoming). But after seeing how lovely this pleated, emerald green dress looked on me, I knew I just had to keep it...because like I said earlier, dresses that I love are so hard to find! I remember when I was younger (9, maybe 10), I had a dress similar to the color of the one I’m wearing in this post. I loved it so so so much, and was devastated when I outgrew it. Now It’s been replaced with a chicer, version! Onto the shoes: When I first saw these shoes online I was like, “Mom, these are my dream shoes!”. Because what gets better than some glitterized, silver, block-heels. I will admit that these are not the most comfiest things ever, but what is lacking in comfort makes up in the sheer sparkle of them....ooooooo. So yes, if you are looking for a pair of heels that are comfortable, I wouldn’t exactly pick these. But you know, fashion hurts.;)) I really hope y’all enjoyed this post!
