December Favorites

December Favorites Hey y’all!

Today I’m trying something new out- it’s a monthly favorites blogpost! I have seen other bloggers do this, and they are so fun to read. I love reading them because I think it’s really interesting to read about what other people are loving! Most of the stuff I’ll discuss today, I either bought myself or received for Christmas. But each one of these items I fell in LOVE with during December. 

1.  Rose water Mist

Okay y’all, after hearing all this hype for this rosewater mist, I finally decided to try it out. In the past, I have used a similar rosewater spray, that is from BeautyCounter. But that product, cost me $50 for one, and I didn’t feel like it was worth that amount. This Mario Badescu rosewater spray was only $12, and I think worked better than the BeautyCounter one. It also was full of pretty harmless ingredients, and has already rejuvenated my skin. I use it after I wash my face, as a way to add more moisture. 

2. Bronzer

One of my favorite things about the holiday season, is picking out the perfect gifts for friends and family. This year, my two best friends and I did our own mini gift exchange. It was so fun to see what we all got each other, especially since all the gifts were so thoughtful! My best friend Emma Beth gave me this Too Faced Bronzer, and I absolutely love it! I have never owned bronzer till now, because I always had this false idea that pale people (like me;) would look weird with it on. But this bronzer I think is specifically a really great product for people with fairies skin, because it is a blend of brown tones, and even dark pinks- which when applied it looks very natural. 

3. Tea

This December, I got sick a lot. I feel like I was constantly buying cough drops, and taking medicine (so not fun!). One thing that I would drink to help with my immune system, is green tea! And this Trader Joe’s version is honestly my favorite. When I’m feeling a little cold coming on, I will drink this tea and I always feel a little better! But if y’all have anything that you help battle your winter colds with, please let me know! I would LOVE to try some new things out! 

4. Navy Tee Shirt

In the winter, one of my favorite things to wear when I’m just chilling out, is a super comfy tee shirt! In my Jadelynn Brooke Rep package, I received this adorable navy one and I have worn nonstop ever since! I love the navy and purple color combo, as well as the cute mantra on the back! It’s a really cute phrase to remember, especially as we enter the new year. Also, Jadelynn Brooke tees are in my opinion, the most comfortable shirts on the planet! 4. Volcano Candle

Does anyone else have an obsession with candles? I sure do! This holiday season, I received a few candles that I have grown to LOVE! I always love the Voluspa and the Nest candles, but my new favorite brand is Capri Blue, specifically the volcano candle! This candle is just the perfect blend of citrus and clean scents, and isn’t too overwhelming. This scent comes in a variety of jars, but the one I got is the gold and silver blown glass one. I think the candle holder makes the candle more wintery, even though it is clearly a summer scent. 

5. Face Mask

I have never been one for sheet face masks, I always preferred the liquid ones that you scrub off your face. But I’m totally in LOVE in with this sheet face mask from Urban Outfitters. It cleanses my skin without being too harsh (I have extremely sensitive skin, so I promise this doesn’t hurt you!), and it comes in the cutest packaging ever. I also think that I featured some of these masks in a blogpost I did last May too, but was from my old blog so y’all sadly won’t be able to read it; sorry. 

6. Necklace

Okay y’all, this is my FAVORITE of the favorites from this month, and I mean why wouldn’t it be! First of all, I have been a huge fan of Kendra Scott and own quite a bit of their jewelry, so I practically died when I opened this gift. I haven’t seen this style on anyone yet, but I just am loving it! It goes super well with a casual-nice outfit, as well as a fancy dress. In fact, I sported this necklace with my green Christmas dress and it just looked so good! I cannot wait to wear it again! 

7. Lilly Pulitzer Agenda

Last but not least, is my Lilly Pulitzer Agenda. I have been getting one of these for Christmas every year since 4th grade, and it’s one present that I most certainly need. I would be way more forgetful, and would probably have very different grades if I didn’t have an agenda. Thankfully, Lilly Pulitzer makes the planning so much more colorful with oodles of stickers, and poppy prints! It’s like a slice of sunshine in your backpack!
