hellooooo friends!! I’m back with the most creative and artsy blogpost I think I’ve ever wrote! I never do DIYS or crafty stuff on here, but seriously I LOVE doing that stuff! For me, there is something so very therapeutic about doing stuff with my hands and getting messy. I love cutting things out and getting glue all over my fingers & such! So this weekend, I had some free time so I wanted to get back to what I love and make another collage! I’m not lying when I say that I have literally been making collages since I was a toddler! Though they haven’t all been as aesthetically pleasing as this one is, the happiness that comes with making something creative is ALL there! I still remember planning out how I would want my room to be, by cutting out pictures from magazines such as Pottery Barn Kids, House Beautiful, and Martha Stewart Living. I wish I kept some of my old ones, I’m sure they would’ve been so funny haha! What I really love about collages, is the “no rules” attitude there is with them! You could literally turn this into whatever you want! Maybe that’s a collage of pictures of you & friends from 2017, or a culmination of whatever gives you inspo! I also love to make fashion ones, but today I wanted to do something different... So I would call this collage my “aesthetically-pleasing inspiration collage”! Everything I included on that piece of scrapbook paper has a meaning, and is important to me. Nothing random, everything gives me happy vibes. Materials you need: at least 1 piece of scrapbook paper (I used white) Magazines! (For this collage I used an old Serena & Lilly, Vogue, House Beautiful, and Martha Stewart Living) Scissors (preferably the small ones) Stick glue Tape Then after that, start by finding letters for your name! It looks really cool too, to use letters in all sizes and colors (contrast baby!). Even though I didn’t do that in this collage, that still looks really cool! Then, you kinda just turn on some good tunes, channel in your creative juices, and cut whatever catches your eye or makes you happy! Remember there is NO RULES! Make this sort of a representation of YOU, in collage form though! If you enjoyed this post, and would like more, please tell me! I know it’s different but maybe this sort of thing can stick around a little while! XX, ELLA
